The IGS Anti-Spam System can automatically delete messages that it
determines are spam, based on the
sensitivity level
that you define.
Once a message is deleted it is permanently gone. It can not be
recovered, so it is important to choose a spam score level you believe
to be high enough when using this feature. Having said that, there is
some information that is logged for each automatically deleted message. The
address the message originated from, the subject (including the determined
spam score), and the size of the message are saved (for the current and
previous month), in the
statistics area.
Automatically deleting e-mail exceeding a defined spam score can save
you the time and aggravation of scanning many junk messages, however, the
spam score level that this occurs at has to be chosen to match your
requirements.
